Next to Dave Gray from XPlane he's one of the leaders in applying visual thinking and generating value for business from his creative skills. What is interesting to me is the rate at which the topic of visual thinking and the design aspect of it is gathering momentum. As Experience Designers we are tempted to force ourselves (and our clients) to trudge through weeks and weeks of sketching and wireframing before we start exploring the visual design (or “aesthetics”) of a product/system. It also offers connections with other visual thinkers who do everything from UX to graphic recording, graphic facilitation and service design, to name just a few of the growing areas that encompass visual thinking.
